A high visible bridge can shift the visual center upward
When the bridge connects closer to the top of the lenses, the two lenses can appear visually tied together higher up.
This can make the center of the frame feel higher or more structured.
The effect still depends on lens shape and rim thickness.
02 · LOW BRIDGE
A lower visible bridge changes the central negative space
When the bridge sits closer to the middle or lower part of the lens shape, more space may remain open above it and the two lenses may feel more separated.
A keyhole bridge is a common example of making this central area a visible design element.
A keyhole shape does not mean the actual bridge always sits low on the nose.
03 · NOSE IMPRESSION
The bridge line changes the visual reference around the nose
Because the bridge adds a horizontal line over the nose, its position and thickness can change how the space between the eyes and nose is perceived.
Some designs can make the nose appear visually longer or shorter, but the actual anatomy has not changed.
