If glasses always drift in the same direction, check frame alignment, left-right support at the nose, temple pressure, rear support and repeated wearing habits rather than assuming the frame is simply loose.
01 · FRAME ALIGNMENT
Is the frame itself distorted to one side?
Start with frame alignment.
If the front or temples are already rotated, the glasses can keep moving in the same direction even after they are placed straight on the face.
02 · NOSE CONTACT
Is support at the nose different left to right?
For metal frames, compare nose-pad position, angle and contact area.
For plastic frames, compare how the bridge contacts both sides of the nose.
If one side carries more pressure while the other side provides less support, the frame center can move.
03 · TEMPLE PRESSURE
Is one temple pressing more strongly?
Differences in frame width or temple direction create different side pressures.
A stronger force on one side can contribute to movement of the frame center, so compare the actual fit on both sides.
04 · EAR SUPPORT
Rear support can also differ left to right
Different ear height or front-back position changes how each temple is supported.
Check whether one side is too loose or hooks much more strongly than the other.
05 · DAILY HABIT
Are repeated habits applying force in the same direction?
One-handed removal or repeatedly wearing glasses on top of the head can apply asymmetric force.
Sleep position or other repeated external pressure can also influence the frame, but it should be treated as a contributing factor rather than assumed to be the sole cause.
These habits can recreate the same problem even after fitting.

Do not simply tighten the temple opposite the direction of movement
That may temporarily recenter the frame but can create temple pressure or additional distortion. Find which contact point is creating the imbalance first.
