01 · HINGE
Are the hinge screws loose?
Repeated opening and closing can gradually loosen hinge screws.
This creates play in the temples and can make the whole frame feel loose.
Sometimes tightening is enough, but worn hinges or parts with excessive play need further inspection.
02 · TEMPLE SPREAD
Have the temples spread wider than before?
One-handed removal or repeatedly wearing glasses on top of the head can apply outward force to the temples.
The change can accumulate slowly and become noticeable only later.
03 · NOSE PAD
Have the nose pads changed position?
Pads that rotate or spread alter support on the nose.
Silicone pads can also harden or change surface characteristics over time and affect stability.
04 · TEMPLE BEND
Has the behind-ear bend opened up?
If the temple ends straighten over time, rear support can decrease.
The frame may move forward more easily and feel generally loose.
05 · FRAME DEFORMATION
Has the front or temple geometry changed?
Repeated force and impacts can produce small changes in metal-frame geometry.
Check overall front alignment and both temples instead of adjusting only one point.

If the real cause is a hinge or nose-pad issue, narrowing the temples can create temple pressure. Check front → nose pads → width → temple bend first.
